Pentapharm, Basel, Switzerland, will introduce its Pefa-Nutrix during In-Cosmetics this month in Milan, Italy. Rich in amino acids, minerals and vitamins, Pefa-Nutrix supplies the skin with constituents necessary to maintain and restore a youthful appearance, executives said. In-vitro tests have shown Pefa-Nutrix stimulates collagen synthesis.
Applications include youth-extending and anti-aging formulations, repairing and after-sun products and nutritive formulations, such as radiance and firmness-recovery treatments, executives said.
Pentapharm will also introduce the Alpaflor Alp-Organic line of plant extracts at In-Cosmetics.
Alpaflor plants are organically cultivated in the Swiss Wallis region and certified by Bio Suisse, Pentapharm executives said. The Alpaflor Alp-Organic line includes such extracts as white genepi, butterfly bush, hyssop, white hore hound, plantain, elder flowers and thyme.
